Cheers Batch. Smithy letting another soft one is a killer. Brez has to come back in now surely?

You'd like to think so. Who knows.

End of the day, it does sound like everyone worked their hardest tonight, and did their best.

If they do that every game then we will at least have a chance, and the fans wont get on the players backs.

Keep the same team on tuesday and lets have another go.

re: cox

I'm sure bids will come in January. He's too good a goal scorer not to attract interest.

Personally I think he needs to improve other aspects of his game before moving up a league.

I wish that were true Spencer, but I suspect that following that some sections of our support are going to get straight on the managers and players backs as soon as we kick off even if the players are fighting for the team on Tuesday night.

Shame, cos I think there are the seeds of a good side in their, but we are now in self reinforcing cycle of defeats and poor confidence with a hostile fanbase. The only thing that I think can change it is a change of manager.

Totally agree, I think for the money we would want for him his all round game isn't strong enough to support a high bid.

Well if he improves on his finishing he could get 30 this season!

And Cox will be off like a shot, to a team that is an effective unit.

This is what Fitton will soon understand, if you have one part of the team that consistently lets you down, then you dont get the time to sort it out. The bad players stay and the good ones leave. It just becomes a total waste of some good players.

Well thats what it sounded like on the radio? They said Peacock was everywhere and all the players looked commited, geeing each other up.

We lost the 1st goal straight after scoring, we lost the second to a goalkeeping howler.

Our defence is crap OST. I think that is their best.

Well if your banging in goals and you score like he does you would think he could be in the championship with us,the problem is easy to sort...you spend 200,000 on a good striker you have to do the same in other areas, its not rocket science and hes a cut above the other players we have.
