People with a longer memory will remember Noel Reilly, former landlord of the Beehive, who sadly died at the weekend aged 62. A well educated man, but an eccentric character, he held cultural evenings in a typical town boozer, even employing a russian philosopher!
Czech, Ronnie not Russian big difference....Reilly was a personal friend, spent a fine night on Friday reminiscing with a few old skool survivors of his regime...sad occasion, but still plenty of laughter.
