The club have today taken £120 from my debit card- 2nd installment. I understood from the literature this was due 01/10/08 and have checked the brochure and this is what it states.
Has anyone else had money taken today? I am going to call the club to dispute this first thing tomorrow

It does, but a lot of people wouldn't have expected it to be 6 weeks early, 1 or 2 yes, I wouldn't be happy if that was me.

They probably thought we were that bad at Cheltnumb...better get the money, before people start asking for refunds...or saying they don't want to bother with the second installment. |

Bart, assuming it wasn't you raising it there was a post about this on "thisis" under "management" section. Yes £120 charged to my card today It's a bit off if you ask me, whilst it isn't against what was said in the ST application form Fill in your credit/debit card details or enclose a
cheque for the full amount of the first part-payment.
If paying by credit/debit card, and if you have ticked the
relevant box on the application form, then the second
payment will be deducted from your credit/debit card
no later than 30th September 2008. If paying by cheque,
please ensure the second payment is received prior to
30th September 2008.
The ST flier said http://www.swindontownfc.premiumtv.co.uk/staticFiles/12/ec/0,,10341~125970,00.pdfSECOND PAYMENT DUE 1/10/2008 Thankfully for me it just means another month on the credit card as would the full amount have if there was no split payment option. But had I realised "by 30th Sept" meant 6 weeks early I would never have ticked the 'automatic second payment' box for obvious reasons. |

Why would we need to suddenly scrounge for money, surely any club selling to us wouldnt mind on credit. Unless they need money soon due to money troubles. You know, like luton... mwahahaha |
