Interesting to note that if you go onto an American news website, e.g. cnn.com, and go to the sports section, they have USA at the top of the medal table, despite China having almost twice as many GOLDs.

We should make it to our best haul of golds since Antwerp 1920 tomorrow, chance that we'll have our best Olympics since 1908 according to the beeb.
I'm starting to look forward to London 2012 now! I feel like a real glory supporter! But I still say no to the GB footie team. Easy way to solve that is to remove all the sports for which the Olympics is not the pinnicle. So no football, for example. They should also remove all events that are decided by judges (Axs made a point about Bolean (sp?) in another thread). |
