Sounds a good result for both parties to me, young 17 year old learning from a 40 year old, fantasy land for a youth.

It's awkward. I can tell thee is I have been in the son's shoes myself though.

My mate was a bit older than 17 though, but that was offset by the fact that before dating my mum, he dated my sister.

I was so glad that I was living in Greece at the time.

Imagine that around the dinner table...or bumping into your mate as he comes out your mum's bedroom. Not right.

I also know of a guy who was due to settle down with some girl, buy a house, get married etc etc. Until she ran away from him to marry his dad instead.

NO! son has not taken it well at all

Its mean really - she just says "Oh he'll get used to it"

Dont think his mum is too thrilled either!

Dell if she was kind of "up together" I could understand it but.....

It made me laugh when the oher day I asked if they were coming down the pub for a drink aftre my pool party she said "he would come if he could get some money off his mum"

maybe we could start a thread on this? how wrong is wrong?!!

Yes you are so right - I was just throwing in a flimsy stupid comment - my lad is going out with a woman 8 years his senior at the moment, not sure what she wants to get from the relationship apart from the bleeding obvious.
