I think Charlie is a member, because he went on there to say thanks to people around Christmas time. I'm sure Dave knows the answer

Charlie is indeed a member and has posted on the wall wishing everyone a happy new year and thanking them for their support.
His mother, sister and girlfriend are also members.
I expect the club dont mind about players having accounts providing then arent using them to have digs at each other or the gaffer or something - or giving out club confidential details.
Plus, he probably had facebook well before he was a pro footballer.
I see there is Charlie Austin Swindon Hero page (not as good as the group obviously!!) does anyone know who is behind that?

Anyone notice the new sponsor at the base of the DRS, "Austin Bricklaying Ltd" i think it said? Couldn't read the phone number, but i wonder whether it's based in Poole?

paynter and decorater up next game then?
....although I expect it said Austin Brickwork Ltd as a quick google search throws up a company based in Newbury and Hungerford.
Austin Bricklayers - the first search result is for a brickie based in houston texas.

That's the one. Wonder if it's his old man or if it was part of the deal? Could be a good thing, i for one would use him if that was his dad should i be inclined to have brickwork done. And i expect many other fans would as well.

a labour company called Austin based in hungerford. I'd say its almost certain it is Charlies dad.
Naturally, if I need any brick work doing I would use him - even if he's crap! just because its Charlies dad!
good advertising.

I await a whole ton of rumours along the lines of "Charlie Austin's dad is repairing my garden wall at the moment and he mentioned..."
