Well that's it - a 3-0 win. Very disappointed with Plymouth's option to leave the entire first team out (it shouldn't, but has irritated me).

2,325 went which is good considering.

....and now, Tranmere Rovers.

So was Betsy there or not? Got the impression from Fitton's interview on Points West before the game that would be signing someone tomorrow. I guess it's Casal but you never know.

Boooooooring game, and cold too.

Plymouth's #7 looked a good player on the right for them. Super fast, strong, direct... I am guessing from the list above it was Yala Bolasie. He would be a better option than, say, Mark Marshall, but I can't imagine Plymouth would want to let him go.

Yala Bolasie isn't a youth - he was brought in from Malta this summer.

Easily their stand-out player, gave Aljofree all kinds of problems.

Faster than Ifil as well, which you don't see very often.

Also, you could say tonight proved how much work Pook has to do to win Malpas over. Wasn't in either of the 2 starting line-ups this evening, behind Chris Allen in the pecking order.

I wonder who Steve Coppell was watching? Mcnamee maybe? also noticed from looking at some pics on the Plymouth site that Mick Harford was there and Paul Wotton.

Is Vincent injured? He didn't play either half tonight either; Calum Kennedy left back in the first half and Hasney in the second.

No they were there tonight, quote from Plymouth site's match report:

"If the locals were disappointed with Argyle's under-strength team selection, it was nothing compared to a couple of interested spectators - Luton boss Mick Harford and Reading manager Steve Coppell".

Harford is an interesting one - Hopefully Coppell (if it wasn't a botched opposition scout - which is quite obviously was) was watching someone like Dan Smith of Plymouth who has played in their first team.

Look at this link: http://www.pafc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10364~1358300,00.html

You will see a pic of Coppell in the Arkell's and also Harford.
