His agent is Fitzroy Simpson. He was at last nights game. One of the few people sat in the Directors box.
He said that both parties are still very keen to get something sorted out. He said that Yeovil are also keen, but that may just be 'Agent talk' for get your arse in gear Malpas!

the thing was at hampton he pinged in as many good crosses as macnamee, he hasnt got his skill but he is so fast bring him on against a tiring full back and he will create shit loads.
That's good to hear, because against Pompey (to me) he looked very quick, quick enough to beat a player or two, but then didn't have the quality to put in a dangerous cross. If he can actually deliver a final ball then that puts a different slant on it. McNamee doesn't always do fancy dan stuff. He can also whip in a good ball by making a bit of space and crossing without beating his man.

Why would you just concentrate on the last pass he made. What about the other passes?

You've got to allow for nerves in these situations, I remember Fitzroy's first ever touch, he trod on the ball and ate turf, he turned out all right.

And also you have to remember that this lad was desperate to impress his prospective new employers (Swindon) playing in a team 3 divisions higher than he played last season and 2 divisions higher than he has ever played, and he was up against a team playing in Europe this season, I think he was just trying too hard to impress and when he was up against Hampton he was more settled with most of his impetuousnous gone after his first ever appearance. You Also cant discount nerves for the Pompey game.

I wonder with Malpas looking at this other player that can play wide right, left or up front that means he is not planning on signing Marshall now ?

I think Marshall is on the backburner in case the Championship Winger does not sign for us.

That would make sense, but that may not happen, so this town needs a marshall.

Or ... what if, as speculated elsewhere (Who's leaving?), JPM goes to Luton mayhap and we get Betsy AND Marshall?

Had a chance of another chat with Fitzroy last night. He said that he was putting off cals from Bournemouth and Yeovil over Marshall. He really wants him to come to Swindon and will be talking to MM today to finally sort it out.

I'd like to see him play for us than against us, so if it does fall through hope he goes to bournemouth
