I'm not sure whether the Ray Mac would be up to league standards, but some smallish clubs like Accy Stanley, D and R and Shots have done it recently. So who knows... |

Last I heard they were trying to buy the stadium off of Kassam. It had been valued at £8m (will be even less than that now) but as part of the takeover they committed to paying £13m. So all they need to do to own the stadium is find a bank willing to lend £8m to a non-league side, and then find someone else who is willing to write off £5m for them to meet the shortfall.
To be honest I don't think Timmy Mallett's fortune stretches that far.
