I particularly like going to the small grounds, trying to work out who is who, which trialist may be worth a look, who is rubbish, etc.
Have we even got anyone on trial other than Hills?
I'll still pop along to the Plymouth, Portsmouth and Hungerford games. Bit undecided on Cardiff.
And Chippenham, Salisbury, Hampton, 'Marine? Ok, not Hampton. God knows why we're playing there.

No going to Chip (away) or Salisbury. Probably not Supermarine, unless we get a load of trialists in it will be the reserves what with it being the day after Cardiff.

My mrs who has zero interest in football has recently told me of her affection for peter crouch... so since when has he become so appealing to women? Rather him than beckham or ronaldo i guess, and it means there's hope for the rest of us.

It's odd, although I'm not speaking from a position of strength, Crouch looks a bit gangly and gormless to be a pin up doesn't he? If he didn't play football and wasn't banging the Clancey bird would he be as appealing.
I blame the "Heat" readers.

Wasn't it Crouch who, when asked in an interview what he would be if he wasn't a footballer, replied "a virgin"?! Fair play to him I reckon.

I have a poster of him of my desk - Hes in a suit and he looks phwoaarr
I went out for an Indian with some friends from work last Saturday and for some reason we started talking about my admiration of Mr Crouch - The whole resturant was staring and me and laughing! even the Indian waiters!!! I like his tallness - he looks like he could look after you
