I dont see what the great love for him was all about last night.

Ditto, I can only assume people were clapping him for being tall or something?

Crouch is a god club player, and es he's played for England. But so has Defoe, and neither are world class.

Indeed, Sol Campbell although past his peak now is still a class defender and has been for many many years and what hes won and acheived in the game dwarfs Peter Crouch.

but Sol's a gayer.

My godson Woody was so funny about Peter Crouch- hes only 6 by the way

Woody "whats wrong with that man?"
me "what do you mean?"
Woody "That blue man - Why is he so tall?"
Me "errrr Im not sure"

Then to be honest the questions never stopped
"is he ill?" "is he taller than a tree?" etc etc etc

Woody's your Godson???  Ha ha, tell podger that you've got a Godson called Woody, he'll love it.

I can't get the image of you taking Woody to football and looking after him.  That'd be weird!!

(You do know the Woody I'm on about don't you???  Pete Sampras/Tom Hanks in the year above me?)

Crouch is a good honest pro, who does well for his country when called upon. That's all I have to say about the freak of nature.

When asked by a reporter after the match what he would have been if he hadn't been a professional footballer he quickly replied "probably a virgin..."

Wasn't it Crouch who, when asked in an interview what he would be if he wasn't a footballer, replied "a virgin"?!

Fair play to him I reckon.

Not to mention earlier in this thread...  Grin
