That's the Soviet Union, not Russia  I meant the Red Army flag (of which there are quite a few variations) but the on used in previous posts is indeed used on som Red Army insignia's and flags. I had a bash at doing one myself some time ago but never was much good with graphics etc.

Lets be honest. If your trying to be taken seriously having a communistic logo isn't going to help

don't see the issue myself, I quite like some of the communist ideals in fact, but that's got nothing to do with anything. Same could have been said about the Orange Campaign using an image of someone that a lot of people find equally appauling, not that I had a problem with that either. Without the Red Army, we'd probably be living in a very different world thanks to their efforts in WW2, equally they have a record of some very barbaric stuff. It's all grey. I'm sure most people won't really care, and even if they know the background of the stolen imagery, then they;ll probably understand it's not being used to depict a Communist movement.

The people's flag is deepest red It shrouded oft our martyred dead; And ere their limbs grew stiff and cold Their hearts' blood dyed to every fold.
Then raise the scarlet standard high! Beneath its folds we'll live and die. Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer We'll keep the red flag flying here.
Look 'round, the Frenchman loves its blaze, The sturdy German chants its praise, In Moscow's vaults its hymns are sung Chicago swells the surging throng.
It waved above our infant might When all ahead seemed dark as night. It witnessed many a deed and vow, We will not change its colour now.
It well recalls the triumphs past It gives the hope of peace at last The banner bright, the symbol plain Of human right and human gain.
It suits today the meek and base, Whose minds are fixed on pelf and place, To cringe beneath the rich man's frown, And haul that sacred emblem down.
With heads uncovered swear we all To bear it onward till we fall; Come dungeons dark or gallows grim, This song shall be our parting hymn.

funnily enough i'd totally support any form of communist and/or socialist fans movement.
So come brothers and sisters For the struggle carries on The Internationale Unites the world in song So comrades come rally For this is the time and place The international ideal Unites the human race

Now, that dear boy, is a work of genius. Unofficially we should call ourselves the Moonrakers...and never mention the nickname of the Slave Traders and Cheltenham again. Go Moonies!
