Is Sam Jackson always cast as a cop or what?

Even when it's not instrumental to the story, it's in his background that he's a cop.

Not really.

I really enjoyed Dan in Real Life. Not a bad purchase for just over £2 from work.

I saw that, it was surprisingly watchable, I say surprising because somehow the billboards made it look shit.

Watching Phone Booth as we speak - generically enjoyable and completely forgettable at the same time.

Is that the one where Mos Def (the black) puts on a silly voice? I had to turn it off after half an hour if so, he irritated me too much. Heard the rest of it was good though.

Nope that's 16 Blocks isn't it.

Phone Booth is good, I assumed Colin Farrell was a complete nob until I saw that. He's probably still a nob actually, just one that can act alright.

I watched a Russian film called Nochnoi Dozor (Night Watch) last night. It was most excellent.

I got my copy from Lovefilm.

Whilst on the subject, has anyone else noticed Lovefilm's turn around being a lot slower these days? Used to receive a film back and post the new one out same day, but now it's receive film back and post new one out the next day.

I expect it's due to people staying in and renting films more, rather than going on nights out.

But yes, that's the way it seems to go.

Then you'll probably like it, just not my cup of tea, although i think it's "based" on a true story.
