eden lake is well worth watching.

isn't quarantine a shot-for-shot remake of REC?

Someone else suggested the same thing to me.

I wish you were going out with my sister rather than the 42 year old that currently is!

That reminds me, I watched Kidulthood yesterday too. Didn't really rate it all that much.

I just watched War, Inc. It's quite good (I am a bit of a Cusack fan though) although seems a little confused as to whether it is political satire or a comedy.

It also has the excellent Ben Kingsley in it.

Anyone recommend any decent new horror?

Not really new but not many seem to have seen it, Canadian film called Cube. I always liked that one, although it's one of those you either love or hate. Has a 7.5 on imdb. Avoid the prequel and sequel like the plague though.

Another is a French film called 'Them' if you don't mind subtitles. Short film and takes a while to get going but very good I thought.

Thought The Mist was reasonable enough.

Edit - Not really a horror film but I thought Blindness was a good watch. More of a drama/mystery really but has some horror/unpleasant scenes in.

Just watched 88 Minutes with Al Pacino, a clever murder thriller type affair. Pacino was class as usual, but it's not one of his best.

7/10.

Rock N Rolla last night, 6.5 out of 10.  Not bad and an enjoyable Richie stereotyped gangsta 90 minutes.  Worth a squirt with a hangover but nothing to porn penguin about.

Two films I will be seeing in the next couple of weeks - The Damned Utd and Lesbian Vampire Killers.  I have high hopes for one of them.

The Cube is one of my favourite filums ever. Though the prequel was ok, but the sequel was fucking toss.

Very underrated film. Think I was the only person to rent it when it came out! Although someone did request it while I was at work yesterday.
