I honestly think signing Cuntstable would be a bad idea, I think we have enough strikers who can do a job.
Connell can play at this level and score goals. as proved on saturday, even if Di canio isn't keen on him.
Kerrouche looks like a decent player who will do very well this year.
Magera obviously isn't fully fit yet but his shot on saturday that hit the post showed a flash of what he can do when fit..
Di Vita looks poor but might be decent back up.
So I can't see where Cuntstable will fit in in the pecking order?

Whatever the total wage bill is, it has to fall within the L2 cap, which Jeremy Wray said we were getting fairly close to prior to the Clarke signing if I remember correctly. Clarke may well be one of the top earners though. I can't remember a time we had so many strikers actually on the books:
De Vita Magera Clarke Connell Kerrouche Benyon Bodin Atiku?
It's a far cry from the Onuora / Hay / Quinn strikeforce of early 99/00.

Did I miss something? Where did the Constable rumours resurface from?

I've not been following too closely but two things come to mind.
1. We have enough strikers, even without Clarke. 2. Didn't Constable tell Oxford he was staying there for 'as long as you want me' after the game against us?
Wouldn't be the right move for him. Besides which, it would be difficult to see how he could form a working relationship with PDC after PDC's counterproductive mind games before the game. Jury still out on PDC in general, but individually that was a poor judgement call.

Ah. Can't see it myself. Why would Oxford or Constable agree to it? Don't think it makes much sense on our part either. We've got plenty of strikers, especially if we get this kid from Blackburn in on loan. In Connell and Kerrooooosh we trust.

I can't think of a better place for Clarke to be. He'd be more hated than Joey Bumchum.

They can't say, that's why it was deleted. But it was brilliant, best posts ever to appear on the interweb. Shame you missed it.

I was personally a little deflated by it, if I am honest.
