Some people genuinly might not be excited at the thought of watching unknown foreign players and paying £25 a match to do so. They may be dissapointed in the last week at missing out on 3 strikers.
I think they are well within reason to be slightly pissed off.
Fwiw i can't wait for the season to start and have a good feeling about it but just see the point in jumping down the throat of every post that seems negative. I am like Tails i do get pissed off at the type of people who even after a win are negative for the sake of it .

I know it's a forum blah blah but it's getting pretty predictable at the moment what every thread is going to end up like.
And that is why I have tried to bite my tongue and stayed away. Jesus, people getting all pre menstrual because we have not signed a proven goalscorer in Conference South FFS ! Nobody said that we were going to sign him, just had we had an offer accepted. If the lad dont want to come then he can do one and go elsewhere. Same. On the pitch I'm really looking forward to seeing us start the season. It's just a shame we've scored a massive own goal with this ticket pricing malarky. Not fussed about missing out on players at all. Plenty of them about. |

To be honest I don't mind the general negativity and I do understand it.
What really pisses me off is the people who thrive on it and get excited because they were right that something negative would happen. Thriving on things going wrong, to me, just really shows how much of a Knight someone is.
You've just summed up my thoughts exactly. It seems negativity/realism is just an excuse to be able to say I told you so. It's so disappointing (and enraging!) to see people proud of being proven right when they spouted negative bile about a football club they supposedly want the best for. Pull the other one. |
