Well, there's a few positive guys on here who may be up for it.
I was just about to post something similar

my posts have always been well balanced. Its because I'm a smug realist who implies my thoughts are some how more real or valid than someone who is more positives and hopes for greater things

And DV, you have historically been The Realist, but to be fair, of late I've enjoyed your posts, they've been more balanced and often quite positive. I did see Fred bundling you up with a few others and chuckled to myself thinking it might be clever baiting. Seconded And Fred hasn't been about much of late, so maybe he is thinking of DV from last season. My (main) issue with you then DV was the repetitiveness.

because this forum is about Swindon Town Football Club and if you hadnt noticed over the last fuck knows how many years we've gone through all sorts of shit little bit good but mostly bad.
I've always called my realist and you lot have always called me a pessimist - when it comes to STFC the pessimistic view is usually the realistic view - history shows this.
What fucks me off more - its been labelled a pessimist, grumpy or negative all the time. Hell, I even had Fred refer to me as one along side Reg in a thread earlier.
Hell, I think we have a good team. I'm happy chuffed to fuck we've shipped out so much of last seasons deadwood, waste of space, bottling C.U.N.T.S. I've been really impressed with the work ethic Di Canio has bought into the club already and the man talks like a fucking genius compared to our previous managers. Sure, we need a couple of strikers - but that will come - apart from that I'm happy as fuck with every thing else (ok the new prices are shit to)
Di Canio will have us the fittest team in the league, he'll have us the most disciplined and I think that will bring results. I think if the season started tomorrow we're a top 6 team in the woeful League Two. Couple of decent strikers and we're good enough to compete for top spot. ...but...im the pessmist, so fuck knows how over enjoyed the happy clappers are...
spot on me thinks!

So assuming Birchall is off to the pikeys what do we still need to complete the squad?
Clearly the two forwards, but where will Atiku play? off the front man, or wide? Seems that Caddis is considered a RB so we're missing RM arent we? Ritchie played there in the first friendly.
Missing the LB still as well.
I think we still need two forwards, a wide player (right sided) and another wide player to back up Ritchie and the afore suggested one, and a LB. So five more for me really.

And Fred hasn't been about much of late,
Fed up with all the meltdowns because we have not signed whoever, jesus it started about 6 weeks prior to the season starting. Tried to keep away rather than throw my toys out of the pram and getting all confrontational. Oh and DV ................................... Chill Bella !

I've taken the confrontational option. You may have noticed.

I don't think PDC will play the standard 4-4-2 formation next season. I think Atiku will be used as a supporting role for the strikers as PDC see's him more as an attacker mid / striker rather than playing him wide.
Could also be why we're looking at Etienne Esajas
