Doesn't say he's Scottish, just says he's been playing in Scotland.

People do do strange things with Wiki....why such a random player who has not been mentioned before? It would be credible but for the statement that he has 'taken the No 9 shirt', before he has even arrived!

So, a big name who's played in Scotland?
It's gotta be Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink

I can honestly say we just don't have a clue as to who we're going to be signing striker wise. So far i have seen us been linked to Ben Burgess, Scott Vernon, David Mooney, Adam Rooney, Steve Brooker & Joe Kuffour and i bet it will be none of these

Slow news day. I was kind of hoping di Canio would announce at least one signing today, after all the outgoings yesterday.

I'd envisaged a coach-load of Italian players, lining up out the door to sign their contracts.

Reuben Hazell has left Oldham, the experience we need at the back? Remeber his clanger against us last year which gifted Paynter a goal
