Scott Vernon's Wiki has updated http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Scott_Vernon&oldid=435417110 and then removed. Currently playing for Aberdeen and would certainly do a job in League 2.

Doesn't say he's Scottish, just says he's been playing in Scotland.

People do do strange things with Wiki....why such a random player who has not been mentioned before?  It would be credible but for the statement that he has 'taken the No 9 shirt', before he has even arrived!

So, a big name who's played in Scotland?

It's gotta be Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink

I can honestly say we just don't have a clue as to who we're going to be signing striker wise. So far i have seen us been linked to Ben Burgess, Scott Vernon, David Mooney, Adam Rooney, Steve Brooker & Joe Kuffour and i bet it will be none of these  Cheesy

Slow news day. I was kind of hoping di Canio would announce at least one signing today, after all the outgoings yesterday.

I'd envisaged a coach-load of Italian players, lining up out the door to sign their contracts.
