Whne we DO sell him then it should only be if we can replace him AND have money left over to invest in the rest of the squad so that we can mount a real challenge for next season. The way i see it we'd be looking for 2.5 million at the end of the season, which would put a mil in the bank & 1.5 million for the squad.
I like the theory but football is a business so i'd expect no more than a 1/3 of the fee to be used to reinvest in the squad, the rest will/should be used to keep the club on a sound financial footing. |

But I cannot see us getting much more than £1m for him, if an offer of this came in they would let him go for sure
Did I dream it or did we not turn down an offer from Hull reported to be in the region of £1.7 million ? Fitton isn't a mug. No way would we sell him on the cheap. |

You're all forgetting the ground redevelopment costs. We don't know how far along the line that is, and i imagine that'll take up a significant chunk of the playing budget

Are there any rumours of us signing anyone? Something to maybe cheer us up a bit, get us mildly excited? Or are we promoting the reserve and youth team players up to the first team as Wilson believes the current crop that we have in place deserve the chance?
