Danny Wilson has just stated on RS that we are 99.9% certain to get a new striker in. Looks like it could be a season long loan.

Today's Rumour - make of it what you will.
"Non–League strikers Steve Smith (Poole), Jamie Hammond (Cheltenham Saracens) and Michael Chennells (Windsor & Eton) are to be given 1 year deals at Swindon Town."
and this...
"Swindon to also confirm the signing of Tony Capaldi from Cardiff City on a free"

Capaldi could be back up left wing I guess but he favours left back and as we have just signed one I think that rumour could be ignored too.

Stern John has left Palace. Could be the experienced striker we are after?
He's had more clubs than Nick Faldo but could he do a job at League 1 level?

BBC Radio Swindon did a interview this morning with DW in the sports bulletin and he confirmed that David Ball was the target but probably wouldn't join up with the squad until after the Austria Tour.
He also said that it's highly unlikely any more new faces will be joining them for the Austria tour either.
Looks like DW is playing a waiting game has his targets but clubs are reluctant to let them go yet

That's a bit hard when he is a free agent though...Might be off to Barnsley anyway.

Nah crap, Isn't he a midfielder anyway? Also sure West Brom let him go, so their two initial points are wrong for a start.
