If he goes to The Championship then fair enough. What would piss me off is if he were to go somewhere like Southampton or Huddersfield. I'd still be tempted to throw 500k at Bolton and see what they say though. I know it's not our way, but Ward really is worth it, maybe offer Bolton the option to by him back for 2.5 million or something. I'm gunna miss Danny too the cheeky little scamp.  We should get a large group of Swindon fans together and go watch a Bolton pre-season friendly so we can sing 'DANNY DANNY WAARRRRD' and maybe just maybe it will convince him that the prem is tosh and league 1 with Swindon is where its at. |

You'se really love Danny here don't you  I'm really excited at seeing him in pre-season, I hope he will be firmly in our (Bolton's) plans next season. If you got promoted I would have loved for him to go on loan to you again, he seemed to thrive. Hopefully he won't have to go anywhere though, and hopefully he can get a cap for England at youth level (he has surprisingly not even played for them at U18's level!) |

He could go all the way to the top. I think we'd have got him back if we went up but I think that's unlikely now. I'd be shocked if there weren't a cue of Championship clubs in for him. How I will miss his waltzing round defenders as though they're not there and smashing the ball goal-wards. |
