It's a bullshit rumour that a few people caught wind of and are now starting to run with it, especially at work. Rotherham apparently want £500K for him and he has attracted Championship clubs. It's a non-starter IMO.

Rotherham (chairman or manager) have been talking stupid money for him £2m-£4m, probably just trying to talk the value up as even their fans reckoned £750k tops was more like it.

Heffernan looks like he could be a good signing, scores a goal every 3 games and I guess him and Greer will know each other. Anyone know what Heffernan is like, any good?

I think Rovers are desperate to sign Paul Heffernan as well.  It wouldn't suprise me if DW was trying to sign him because he absolutely crushed us with Kaffour up front at home.

The rumour site is bollocks although i think the Heffernan rumour isn't.  Heffernan has a host of clubs chasing for his sigtnature with Rovers being leading the chase.

Decent player and would cause problems with Austin up front but i think Vince & Charlie will be the main striking pair next season

Can't see anything behind Peter Enckelman. We don't exactly need a 5th contracted keeper at the club!! 

And Hefferman would be a potent force for us, as long as he promises not to headbutt anyone again! :-)

Agreed. Douglas though was on a free. If someone is going to cost us more than 250k then it's simply a non starter.
