Just seen this on the Bournemouth vital site. No idea who he is?

Rumour has it that Charlie Austin is being chased by Swindon.

I really like the sound of Chalie ustin. He scored 46 in 46 i'm sure i read. He's also but a teen.

54 goals in 54 games altogether I think league and cup.

The reason the Muff are concerned is that hes been training with them for 7 weeks and waiting for their transfer ban to be lifted so he can sign with them.

Sounds promising actually and just turned 20.

From the station at Colchester
To the cells of Warrington
From the services at Leicester
To the slums of Northampton

We travel over England
And one day Europe too

Cos we all follow the Swindon
We're the famous Town End crew.

Is he from Swindon then?!

Quote from: Boremuff Echo
But with Howe’s hands tied by the ban, Austin may now be forced to seek an alternative route into the professional ranks, with hometown club Swindon also showing an interest.

Looks like the lad Austin has arrived on trial he certainly knows where the net is so lets hope we can develop him. Bournemuff must be miffed at the moment as they can not sign anyone, this lad was ready to sign a contract after impressing in the summer.

You got a link?

I'm really excited by him and really, really hope we get him in, after all that's one hell of a record and he's still very young. Plus we could then have 2 Strikers on our books! Wink

Glad were looking to give non-league players a chance, If we didn't we'd have never witnessed class strikers like Charlie Griffin. Cheesy
