Spot on DRS. That's exactly what I think as well.

Agent fees is largely a blind alley, plenty of clubs spend next to nothing or nothing on them these days at our level.

So, based on this week's transfer business, respective club size is as follows:
Huddersfield Town > Swindon Town > Plymouth Argyle

I posted this back in May "Talking to a Tranmere mate of mine last night and he says Ian Moore and Chris Shuker are both out of contract at the end of the month and also a young lad Jennings who is a good prospect , they maybe offered new contracts but they have a lack of finance so the manager has been told to trim the wage bill. I always rated Shuker although he says he can blow a little hot and cold but when he is on form he is too good for league 1." http://www.thisisswindontownfc.co.uk/news/headlines/4454533.Shirtliff_plans_raid_on_Rovers_/Seems shirtliffter fancies a couple of their players maybe a couple of the ones my mate talked about.

Booooo.
Going for Tranmere's rejects, no ambition from the board whatsoever.

This Robinson thing is still all speculation, the only bits i've seen on any forums have been posted by swindon fans on league one forums. Wait and see i guess, but would expect it to get done this week if its goining to.
More concerned by the suggestion from Shirtliff in todays news story that we only need 2/3 more players, we need at least twice that in my book.

Well it's hard to get it sorted though mate when players go on holiday and wait to see which teams are interested in them.

I think I am right in saying that usually most Players contracts run out on the 1st of July (I guess due to most player signing up during the summer months )therefore until then nothing official can be announced even if things are sorted unless like Greer and Lucas their contracts have already expired.

It's standard practice for contracts run until 1st July. I'd imagine Greer and Lucas would've been contracted to Doncaster & Leeds respectively until 1st July, but if the club know they aren't going to keep them on they can mutually agree to terminate their contract early, allowing them to sign for us.
