That was Reg's third year as a season ticket holder wasn't it?

I see Carlos Tevez has told Man Ure that he's leaving.

Surely this is an indication of his imminent arrival at Swindon.

Yes anyone can edit it, that's why it can't be totally trusted as a source.

The interests me "He is set to sign for Huddersfield Town F.C. for an undisclosed fee.". Presumably an 'udersfield or Oxford fan having a joke, but after being seemingly gazumped on a number of signing last year I still get nervous.

There's nothing on Huddersfields local paper website about it (The Huddersfield Examiner...no less) but they have pulled out of signing Carlisle's Danny Graham...and Gary Roberts has promised fans that he'll be back fitter and stronger than ever next season.... if thats of any interest...?

According to other forums Huddersfield put in a bid for Craig Makail Smith, which was immediately
rejected by Peterborough.I would imagine that they're setting their sights a little bit higher than
Theo,or at least i hope so for all our sakes.

Whats the score with huddersfield?  Have they got a rich backer or are they just foolishly throwing money about attempting to buy there way up the leagues?  Or both.

Rich backer who has so far bought the best players from other league one clubs, like pilkington from stockport. Haven't seen Theo, dont know if he is any good, but i'd hate to be pipped at the post for another player we are prepared to spend money on as with OTJ. Hopefully we will get some news soon if he is back from holiday.

From what I heard about OTJ (I was down in Norwich on Sunday with a chap who is involved) Norwich are paying stupidly high wages.  Nelson from hartlepool was about a grand a week and now has about 10 times that!  Not something we can compete with.

Are you sure? If they really wanted to spend that much surely they would be recruiting top end CCC or bottom end prem players for that, not league one hoofers, doesnt seem likely to me.
