Was on loan at Kilmarnock in the SPL last season.
Not being funny, but is a loan to us a bit of a backward step?
He was injured throughout the loan therefore never really got going in Scotland.

Sobowale wasn’t going to get a look in here and has gone to the SPL as well as the club playing in Europe. Shows the standard over there.

I hope this doesn’t mean Delaney‘s out the door. This would make our back line quite inexperienced.
And im fine with Delaney leaving but not to be replaced with an u21 with no EFL experience.
You’ve got to think they picked a cheap youth loan over paying Delaneys wages.

Definitely, and that's why aren't serious about promotion. Say Wright and Clarke get injured and then we're then left relying on kids in a mans league. It's a dangerous game to play.

Did he play much. That's not a snipe, I genuinely can't find the stats! Anyway, if not it may explain it. Though good point re: freckleton and sobowale

It makes sense if Delaney was going to sit on the bench anyway.

Does it follow that Delaney goes? I don’t see why we should assume that? He’s come to us from Newport and had to compete with Wright, Mabete and Minturn (and now TWB) for his place. I’d expect a Minturn loan to be more likely.

Barrett17 and iparadise seem to think he’s off.

Delaney grew into the season but started poorly. The 4-0 away at Colchester springs to mind as a horror show but it was for the whole team. I am not convinced he is much more than an okay player for the level so if we want to do better then in Holloway I trust.

Just seems to be what is being suggested in the Moonraker article about this signing. "While no move is believed to currently be on the table it would not be a surprise at this point to see him leave in this window". I'd personally keep him but there have been rumours since the end of the season that Holloway wanted to sell Delaney
