He probably knew that if he let him leave town without signing on the dotted line, we wouldn't see him again...

It's a long shot still, but why the hell not.
If it works, brilliant. Glad he's got his chance. Going to take a bit to adjust, so I'll not expect much for a while.

Ameen no doubt is an exciting prospect, but outside of his cameo v Bradford and ten minutes v Doncaster, I didn’t think he actually impressed significantly. Now, obviously being an 18 year old in his first proper year of senior football, it would always take time to adjust but if we could secure a decent fee with a healthy sell on, I think letting him go would not be the end of the world.
Yes, in real terms he's done next to nothing other than the two games you mentioned so if he does go it will have very little impact on the squad. We've all seen his massive potential in those games though and it's a little bit heart breaking that in all likelihood, we won't be able to see that potential fully develop at STFC in the next couple of seasons, which I personally think would be the best scenario for the player as well...oh well, such is the lot of the lower league fan...

Tabor is a very exciting signing and could really pay dividends. Anyone have any idea on the contract length? I hope we have built in options for an extra year but that seems to be the norm now.

The type of signing we all want STFC to make more often. Might not work out but got to be worth a try. We didn't know what we had in Charlie Austin until those appearances vs Norwich and Carlisle. He did okay after that.
Low risk, high reward.

Crikey! I'm shocked by that. I thought Holloway would want him after doing well on 'the run', but I assumed he would go elsewhere on trial and they would offer him more.
Lets hope he is very good!

Hes got some pace, knows where the goal is and likes to open his legs and run at defenders pretty much as McKirdy used to when he first came to us.

Looks a skinny fucker to me so he’ll have to rely on pace - hopefully with the ball close by.
I’d say, Paul Benson-esque

He has way way more pace than Benson ever had.
