Was always a player I wanted us to sign. But this was going back 4-5 years ago.
Didn't realise his fitness record since returning to Grimsby was that rotten.
Apparently, not started more than 15 games a season for past few years??
Had a quick scan of the Grimsby forum. Apparently, when fit he is a class above this level according to some.
Let's hope for a Glatzel type situation where his previous injury plagued record vanishes.
Definitely above the level if on it and fit unplayable at times , the issue is he does only play about 15 games a season and the unplayable games are probably be 1/3 of that . I'm suprised you are in for him as he will be on a league 1 wage you would think after being at Lincoln before us and we signed him for a fee . Holloway did get a tune out of him with us tbf I will be interested to see how he goes if it's even legitimate some of the rumours are wild so will have to wait and see . |

Probably plenty of options nearer to home Cambridge, Colchester, Gillingham, Franchise, Southend just bizarre that he had a medical then like you said the agents phone rang with a better offer. |

I thought it was the city of Lincoln which is about the same distance to Gillingham and Swindon +/- As you’ve quoted Cleethorpes to Gillingham is further so we can forget that one if being closer home to home is his priority. |
