Happy about that. He's the sort of player that i could imagine signing for Barrow or somewhere and getting 15 goals in a season.

Also - it's very early for a reveal. Are we expecting more today?

There's a player in Glatzel but I'm mildly surprised he's renewed. He's not a target man or a wide forward really, so is he the best for for the system we played last year? Not a bad option to have but hard to see him starting a lot.

He was effective towards the end of the season on the right. Top of the assists too despite limited game time.

Suspect the timing of all the news released by the club is just to get as many early bird ST sales today.

As I mentioned previously in the squad list thread, I had heard that Glatzel, Drinan and Ripley had re-signed so maybe they'll announce the other two today.

I wonder if they are waiting for them to come back from holidays

Had an absolute "hey wait what" moment here as the BBC said we'd signed Tom Anderson from Doncaster.

Turns out he's gone to Shrewsbury and they've got their STFCs confused.

Who's leading on recruitment this summer? Chris Kiely? Different profile of player coming in.

Holloways influence might just explain the change

I am pretty sure Holloway has a huge amount of input in all new signings.

I was told that it’s Holloway that has the final say, which is as it should be with a traditional manager

I assume it's Les Caffery. He is still head of first team recruitment, isn't he? I imagine Holloway is heavily involved too though.

I used to love a pint of Caffrey’s. Is it still sold anywhere?
