Joe Acklam at the adver. He drops a rumour of an ex player in the transfer window as a prank to give himself something to giggle about on deadline day.

To be fair, he had to give himself some entertainment last deadline day.

Exactly. It's a long old day for him with most of it being sat there waiting.

I can't imagine Archie Matthews generates that much entertainment!

Obviously the McKirdy button somewhat more effective I imagine.

Go on then... if we could re-sign any one ex player (in their current condition, on wages we can afford), who do you take. Is it still Milner like it has been for the last literally 20 years?

Benda, just based on the fact our biggest need is a goalkeeper.

Otherwise Jerry Yates

Massimo Luongo would do a nice little job for us in midfield, right now

He probably did but also a lot of our fans ‘heard’ a deal had been agreed with Franchise & he was off there as soon as the do window opened.
MKD and Crawley are known admirers of Wrights, but its unlikely he will leave this window from what I hear. We must keep him IMO.

Jacob Murphy probably the most successful ex stfc player for me across the past 18 months, so would say him.

Whilst he’s played very little part in.

…but…Matej Kovar has two league titles, a cup & a super cup on his resume in the last couple of years…

Why do I have no memory of Jacob Murphy playing for us.

That must've been very brief.

If we sign a new keeper, what’s more likely? Barden being sent back, or Bycroft going out on loan?

The former, by some distance.

It doesn't seem like Norwich would need to agree to that in the same way as with Freckles (or at least, they'd allow it) from what's been said.

Peterborough sign Joe Edwards from Chippenham

We should be looking at players like this to develop, no?

Joe Andrews

This sort of signing is Peterborough's bread and butter.
