Yep I heard it too, however as Holloway said he wanted to keep him and the window has been open for a month I thought perhaps he had convinced the owners (nsert whoever you like) to keep hold

That's how I see it. Plus MK looked elsewhere. Probably was interest, then Minturn and McGregor got injured (+ hall, obvs) which may have had an influence, or not - but either way we said "no".

I hope.

I think Wright going/being sold has been common knowledge since about December tbh  Roll Eyes
I didn't know it was 'common knowledge'...unless a bit of speculation on an internet forum amounts to common knowledge. I suggested myself that Wright would be an obvious target for Lindsey at Franchise but him and Smith should have 'Grade 1 listed' status attached and no bids should even be considered for either at this stage.

Clem would be dead to me if that happened...not that I have any time for him anyway...

Franchise don't have much luck with CBs. They signed Nathan Thompson and he got a bad injury 25 minutes into his debut. I don't think Will Wright will go anywhere.

I don't think so either BO...if there are any outgoings it will be no more seismic than Longelo (who I didn't mind but wasn't overly fussed) to Salford...maybe Cain will go or perhaps Cotterill will go back to Swansea...I think that's still undecided isn't it?

All this talk of Will Wright and him needing to stay for next season, how long is his contract if it was only a year he may choose to bugger off at his own volition in the summer anyway (like he did when he came to us in L2 rather than going up into L1 with Crawley).

I'm calling it now. Morrison is 100% bullshit & is just Joe doing his usual transfer window game of seeing how far he can get a rumour to spread.

It was McKirdy back in the summer and that former youth team keeper last January. It's Morrison this time.

I think the Morrison thing come from elsewhere initially.

Not ruling out the what you’ve said being picked up from that though. Bit of a Scrooge take from me as I do sort of see the funny side but that McKirdy thing in the summer rubbed me up the wrong way a bit, but also happy to accept I’m just being a grumpy/boring person.

Take Sean Morrison's name out of the equation, and a 34 year old centre half last seen in the Championship nearly a year ago does sound like our kind of deadline day signing...

I agree that it's Joe pulling another one of his pranks though

Who is Joe?

Joe Acklam at the adver. He drops a rumour of an ex player in the transfer window as a prank to give himself something to giggle about on deadline day.
