Think Cotterill has something somewhere but probably not what we need right now - nor something that features in Holloway’s system.
Been a bit better recently.
Got done over by Kennedy’s shite tactics…

He was a really nice bloke, I was interviewed by him 3 times for the local news and he was a true gent, he was equally hated by Swindon, Shitty and Rovers fans! all accusing him of bias against them.

Poor bloke. Where ever he went had to endure the: “We all agree Roger Malone is a wanker.” 🤣 Something that ticked me the other week was on a lads reunion. A few Swindon, Oxford and Reading in the Group. In fact one of my rekindled best Mates of old is a Pox fan. He referred to me as Roland Arblaster. He was our local radio reporter that covered the Swindon games.

When we won 4-0 at Ashton Gate in 1991 and were held in afterwards for a good 30 mins. Chalky was being interviewed by RM and you could hear the RM chant in the background on the HTV highlights.

Yeah, Chalky had showered, got changed, came out for a pitch side interview and we were still locked in. Got out at 5.45pm if I recall correctly. The smirk on Chalky's face was hilarious 6 mins 45 to 7 mins, my favourite part of that game. I got bounced down 10 steps when that goal went in

Freckleton loan not being cancelled, will be reintegrated to the squad as per the Adver.
Putting a bit of thought to this one, whether it’s through hopeful faith or naivety, I wonder if the change of system would do Freckleton any good.
His defensive stats here and at Chesterfield were relatively okay mostly (until the confidence clearly went), it was on the ball where he was more shakey. Chesterfield fans had the same reviews.
I wonder if now we’ve moved away from the total football from defence style and our CB’s are more focused on defending, whether Freckleton would be adequate in this system as a squad player.

If Freckleton stays I don’t see the need for Malone. As for Cotterill, he might prove me wrong, but he doesn’t seem to have the speed of thought / pass that we need in there. Always seems to want an extra touch.

Virtually all the defenders were making regular mistakes under Kennedy - almost non existent under Holloway. No reason Freckleton couldn’t do the same.

We've all said the same about Freckleton really. I don't like the whole 'it was the fans wot killed him' narrative, but I guess the fans get the blame for everything at this club.
Rumours that we'll sign Nichols on a permanent contract to fix the six loans problem.
