Can you see Holloway going for him? I cant. Cant see them getting on either.
If it happens it will no doubt be the yearly lets win the fans over transfer that will keep the simps happy.

The “clem happy clappers” will be in full voice that’s for sure if McKirdy does rejoin. If it did happen, surely a forward would have to leave….

Does Holloway have much say though? We all know Nichols wasn’t a Holloway signing. We’d been linked to him for years.

Is McKirdy just coming back for the Carlisle and Port Vale games just for the banter?

Love Harry for ever.  But no.

Unless he can play in goal now.

Not as if he’s getting my playing time at hibs, so he might want a move. Wouldn’t count it out coming back. Whether he is fit enough to slot into Ollie team as he doesn’t like unfit players.

The absolute shithousery if McKirdy and Smith play up front together is quite tempting, however I reckon it might just be McKirdy on the wind up. Tshimanga will definitely be looking for somewhere to go if it is true and not a wind up.

I mean if we are looking to play 3 upfront then 2022 Harry McKirdy as one of the wider forwards is exactly the type of player you’d want…

….if 2022 Harry McKirdy still exists.

Just for some context Harry scored 61% of his career league goals for us that season….

Josh Benson from Barnsley

Our 7th loan. Albeit one is Freckleton so basically 6.

Still, someone from Barden, Cotterill, Tshimanga, Nichols, Westley and now Benson are going to have to be left out each week.

Easy one there is probably Barden and sticking a youth keeper on the bench but not ideal for anyone.

Unless Cotterill actually is going back to Swansea.

Benson played for Holloway when he was Grimsby manager back in 2020. 2 goals in 11 appearances. Hasn't played much for Barnsley recently.
