Seeing a lot of Jojo rumours online. My first instinct is that it’s all just speculation as he wasn’t in the Crawley squad

So, is Jojo Wallocott rejoining Town. Wasn’t involved for Crawley tonight as their new loan keeper started. I’ve no idea how true this is or whether it’s BS…
Think there might be something in the JoJo rumour. Have heard he's not keen on a move to us.

I'd be very happy with that. I'd also be happy with Wollacott returning.

Under normal circumstances I wouldn’t be keen on a return for JoJo, but with our current options he’s definitely an upgrade.
Ultimately though if he’s not keen on a move back here then don’t do it. Barden/Bycroft are shaky but are probably “just” enough to get us through safely to summer with the rest of the team and then assess better options.

Is JoJo still involved internationally? It's Afcon this year. Don't think we get much money like world cups and be a long time to go without a first choice

Hockaday seemed to think the goal yesterday was a bit of a freak thing and there was nothing wrong with Bycroft's positioning. Apart from that he didn't have much to do last night. I thought he did well second half with distribution pushing up and playing out from goal esp. taking advantage of the extra man.

At least with the Tranmere goal there wasn't any groaning or booing from our lot, Davison gave that a thump, more a freak goal than anything.

I thought he was absolutely at fault. I think you're being very kind to me here.

Don’t particularly have an opinion on the goal last night, not seen a replay yet but gut feeling on watching live was a mixture of wonder strike that will never be replicated and could the keeper have done better. But it was such a non dangerous moment that I hadn’t seen his initial positioning. Regardless though, I think over the course of the season he has shown to be almost adequate but shaky enough to not be ready to play every week as number 1 for us. He’s frustratingly blown between hot and cold. Some great shot stopping and distribution at times but still too many of the basics going wrong like spilled shots into poor areas, flapping at balls into the box. I don’t necessarily think it’s his fault, he was brought in and thrown in as number 1 way too soon, he can go on to be a well established keeper. Just right now, I’d prefer a steady set of hands in goal that I don’t feel shaky with.

I agree. This particular goal was absolutely a complete fluke, but the pattern is Bycroft keeps making mistakes and needs to be out of the firing line for a bit.

I was there too! Only way Shilton was ever going to going to be beaten around that time - Best keeper I've ever seen!

I only saw Shilts once, played for Derby at the CG.
