They never will. They think he is the only gig in town and seem happy to accept relegation battles in league 2

The people behind the scenes should be nowhere near any business let alone our football club

The benefit of these kind of signings is that he only has 6 months on his contract and you'd imagine if Burnley go up, he's highly unlikely to get a new deal. We now get a player on a 4 month 'trial' whereby if he does well, we almost get 'first dibs' for next season.

There are of course, cons to it. Why not give Ameen more of a run of games? (Although Westley is 2 years older and more mature and we aren't yet safe from relegation I suppose)

Fascinated to see what kind of player he is, suspect we'll see some of what he has to offer tonight.

Under normal circumstances and years ago I would agree but nowadays, it’s more likely if he does well then he’ll be picked up by someone else at the end of the season rather than us.

Lets hope the lad does well but we look heavy with forwards now...

Glatz going out out or on loan?

Need a Keeper FFS!! Thats a must.....weve pissed away some points between the two we have over the Season.

Maybe we have a ‘first dibs’ option with Burnley.

Maybe, but Holloway did talk about it giving options for a starting 3 and finishing 3. He then talked about Glatzel, Drinan & Tshimanga’s different attributes and the opportunity not to rely solely on Smith.

Second loan player in 2 seasons with Burnley. Last one didn't really work out but I guess there are worse sides to 'link' up with. (If indeed that's what we're doing)

Seems a bit of a strange one to me, not a position id have said we needed. Especially with Ameen in and around the squad.
I’d much prefer him to be playing than another loan.
Ollie thinks that at times we rely too much on Smith so he is an alternative option up front. Kevin Phillips coached him for a while and thinks hes a very good prospect. Seems an all round type of striker who can score goals.

Tshimanga, Drinan and Glatzel don't score goals. In this system anyway.

We need goals to stay in the league.

I love Glatzel btw, I just think he needs to play in a more attacking system with options left and right. Rather than scrapping for second balls and flick ons etc. Like Mcgurk, it just seems like he doesn't suit the 'system'

Indeed, it's why I prefer Drinan as he at least causes the defence some issues due to the total effort he puts in closing down and harassing the defence.

Maybe we got him on the cheap - that's why he has been signed, wasn't it suggested by Holloway that 2 were signing
