This transfer strategy, is just Lindsey, Morris, Flynn all over again, rinse & repeat - get the manager in, say we have X amount, the reality is Y amount, and then reduce by Z percent as each season goes by.

What's that coming over the hill, is it the NL?

Yeah, i just posted in another thread, i am almost done I think. There is not one thing about this club that gets me even remotely surprised or excited at the moment. I used to look forward to matches, celebrate goals and be gutted when conceding - now nothing.  Even posting on here used to be enjoyable but they have sucked the enjoyment out of that too (nothing to do with you lot, mostly..  Cheesy)

I'm trying to not let the off field antics affect my view on the pitch.  Genuinely think Kennedy wants to build a decent team with his thoughts & ideas but the constraints that he, Flynn and past managers have had to endure have stopped them doing a decent job.

I haven’t been to a game since October, and considering I’m a single bloke with fuck all else to do, says a lot. I watched the first half hour of the Chesterfield game on Sky and then turned that off too.
I haven’t missed it either.

There is just nothing there, no highs, no lows, nothing.

The only thing keeping me even slightly interested is the hope that this lot fuck off and I can start enjoying it again.

No one but Kennedy is responsible for that abomination of a midfield set up.

Sure, far from the clubs biggest issue over all but a massive hindrance on the pitch.

Not too dissimilar to Flynn.
Yeah he was probably hampered by the clubs transfer windows but that didn’t mean he had to play gung ho attacking CBs that leave Tom Brewitt as our only defender defending

I get the impression this seasons transfer strategy has been based mainly on season ticket renewals. The money for signings has now dried up. It feels like last season and I feel like a mug .

Agreed

Earlier today I remembered that Tariq Uwakwe exists and is still at the club.

They don't even seem to ask about him in pressers any more.
