Yeah the turnover is wild, Cain and Minturn are the only people to have any minutes so far who were at this club on 1st January, and neither are or were exactly key cogs...
I agree re the turnover every season since Clem, however off the back of our worst ever season then I have complaints that we have had a complete overhaul this summer and changed the model. |

The difference is that in league 2 we have to abide by FFP, whereas in the National League they don’t.
Would anyone want to sign a player on loan, that is probably not a starter, who then becomes our highest paid player.
I'd be surprised if we've gotten anywhere remotely close to breaking FFP since the Di Canio days. |

There are workarounds aplenty in regards to playing budget, one of them being that any money put into the club by the chairman as new shares (importantly *not* in the form of loans) can be added to FFP. That, and the mega sponsorship they draw in, is why Wrexham could spend fucktons of money last year. Slight issue for Town is that we'd need a competent CEO and an owner who wanted to fund the club properly and would be happy to write off a percentage of investment...

I'd imagine your Salfords and Forest Greens would struggle a lot more with FFP rules as their legitimate income must be miniscule.

FGR's get around the FFP rules is really easy as they just increase the Ecotricity sponsorship to account for how much budget they want to spend. |

I know it was being looked into at some point in the Prem and Champ as it was being exploited, but still believe it is the wild west on that front down here. |
