Sorry to disappoint you but I haven't spoken to my Agent friend since the end of last season as he's been away , obviously a very busy time for him.

And any info I got from him didn't just come from him, it may be difficult to comprehend but agents do communicate with each other and a lot of info can be gleaned from that.

Added to that players talk to other players on clubs etc.

It is a free country , it's a free forum if you don't agree or believe with what I say......that's fair you don't have to.

This is forum to air our views and any info we have gleaned from various sources.

This is a Transfer rumour thread , key word 'Rumours' again this can be 10% truth and 90% pure fuction, again that's what it's for.

Also things change, as STFC  have found out, a nailed on signing one day is a no go the next......

So let's not get nasty and personal on what people have posted in an attempt to gain points over another.

Last season I got stuff right , I got stuff wrong that's the way of the world...

Spot on.

Without a few flair players to top up with squad wise we may be in for a season were we are very workman like and lacking any distinctive game changers.
I would prefer some proper attacking football but I think that caution will be favoured considering the defensive mindset that appears to being built up.

Hopefully it works out. Definitely need an experienced player in that position as well. Can’t be relying on an inexperienced 19 for our creativity

Looking forward to what the Moonraker has to say about Russell's transfer strategy. If you have tried to be in the hunt for Kemp and then Payne,we clearly acknowledge the need for that kind of player. I've no idea how good Cotterill is meant to be. Is he the new no 10?

9 games for Stockport last season

All off the bench. Some no more than 3 minute cameos.

He might be a talented player, but I severely hope this isn’t our ‘answer’ to a kemp sized hole.

Russell wanted players on their second loan, not a first, but this is a pretty low bar for a first loan.

This can't be the only answer to creativity.

Spunked the budget on the first eight signings.Loan signings to round out the squad depth unless players are sold ie,Khan or Glatzel.

Strap yourselves in folks, not sure promotion will happen under the current ownership, unless we get lucky.

But then,no way Clem can afford to run us in League One.

If he's a squad player with the potential to become a mainstay in the starting 11 it's a sensible move.

I am still very much expecting a more 'marquee' signing to fill the #10.

If not, I am a bit worried.

The LS pod has suggested / expressed concern that they might have Glatzel earmarked for that role. Which would be an utter waste.

Think people are forgetting Sean McGurk. I believe when up to speed in a few weeks we will be one of the best No.10’s in the division comfortably.

Yep this could be a big season for McGurk shame he will miss Chesterfield game not sure after that though

Doesn’t Harry Smith have the No10 shirt and McGurk is 11?

Im sure he won’t be the only creative player we’ll sign, and you never know he could be another Massimo Luongo. He had a bit of a nothing loan before joining us. But really I wanna see us try and get someone like Matt Smith in.
