Although i am of the belief that there are some legs to the lack of budget debate, just because we used the no budget line to some players that we decided against, doesn't mean there is no budget left, especially when Bignot is saying in interviews that they are actively working on bringing in creative players.  Maybe there is only budget left for key first 11 players and they saw those 2 as squad fillers.

I tell people that I can't go out for a night because I am washing my hair, of course it isn't the case but it's nicer than saying I just don't like you enough.

Just to reiterate, i do believe that Clem is up to his old budget tricks again, i just don't think we have used all of the budget that does exist.

He might be a total prick and the club might not want to do any business with him, so he's happy to bad mouth them to anyone who will listen, alternatively he might be spot on with what he says.

Concur. No doubt agents will have ideas about the clubs finances but there is no way even our unprofessional lot are going to spill the all the beans about our budget. Hell, if they can’t file accounts on time they aren’t going to be able to give a singular agent all the details they probably don’t know themselves.

I didn't want to believe Cowley last summer but most of what he said was accurate. So no reason to believe he's too far off the mark this year.

Sorry to disappoint you but I haven't spoken to my Agent friend since the end of last season as he's been away , obviously a very busy time for him.

And any info I got from him didn't just come from him, it may be difficult to comprehend but agents do communicate with each other and a lot of info can be gleaned from that.

Added to that players talk to other players on clubs etc.

It is a free country , it's a free forum if you don't agree or believe with what I say......that's fair you don't have to.
