Alistair Smith would be a good signing. He was very good at Sutton.

Harry Smith has been mentioned this Summer as being linked to us a few times.

I would take him here.

He was linked last year before he signed for Sutton wasn't he? Free agent now and would add an experienced target man to the ranks. Wouldn't be against it.

Rumour was in January that FGR bid £100k for him but Sutton wanted more so turned it down. Ironically both ended up with relegation despite Harry scoring 14 (11 in the league). Which was 1 every 3 games.

No idea if he's still reliable, but Boo has posted a cryptic tweet referring to 'Smiths' crisps.

Would prefer: Alistair Smith
Likelier: Harry Smith
Could be any Smith mind

wouldn't listen to what he says tbh

I dread to listen to him but every so often he gets a transfer rumour right, like Kemp last summer.

Smith wouldn't be a disaster, as we would then have a ready made partnership in Drinan and Smith having played together and been promoted from Orient.

That Boo guy is a complete moron.

Spent the last 6 months slagging off Gunning, yet will defend Clem to the death.

How he can't comprehend how Gunning was only in charge because of Clem is beyond me.

Basically Danny Johnson was our number #1 striker target but chose the better contract last minute at Walsall (was supposed to be announced at the kit launch)

Once that had fallen through - Harry Smith was next on the list but again he chose the more favourable contract at Sutton.

…or that is what Flynn told a friend of mine at the kit launch last year anyway…

Cam Norman has left Franchise. We were linked last year before he signed there and would be a good RB signing. Will probably join Flynn at Cheltenham though.

Paul Bodin just said on that On The Sofa thing with Vic Morgan, that there is interest from from us for Billy...I wouldn't hate that.
