Jamie Russell said we'd be looking at "second loans" which would not be this guy. Will take any rumour we can get though!

Quieter than expected week after the 'hype' at the end of last week...

I'm not sure there is anything out there that can even be considered a rumour, unless i have missed something?

Its just wishful thinking.

If nothing else, wasn't this meant to be a week of more experienced players joining? It has been a totally damp squib.

It’s not an exact science. All sorts of variables can delay signings.

Just a quieter than expected week. Even the Adver is rehashing stories from Kennedys interview last week for todays story.

Hopefully they have some more up there sleeve to move the season ticket sales in the next 7 days

As Swindon fans we know that only too well!

I just think they went out and clearly briefed people in the media that this was a sea change and then… nothing.

Feels like Competitive Budgetgate 2.0 as we stand. One swallow (Clarke) does not make a summer.

Never believed for a second we’d have a glut of signings this week.
Players contracts haven’t even expired yet (and they need to stay unemployed for that extra months pay right?) so not shocked we haven’t signed any free agents.

It’s been a signing for money (pleasant surprise) & extending Ofoborh - on the back of recently actually appointing a manager.

It’s definitely a step foward in the right direction.
Naturally if we will keep going in that direction remains to be seen but not sure we can grumble about this week in isolation based purely on football matters…

I’m not grumbling per se. Just commentating that if you extend an early bird window it is because you intend to do something in it.
