Tyrese Shade has joined Solihull Moors on loan…
Back to his original club. Makes sense all round, they pay all or part of his wages, he gets 1st team game time and possibly hits a run of form at a lower league club.

I've wanted it to work for Shade.
Attacks always died with him though. He only ever looked half decent with cameos off the bench.
Never had a clue what he was going to do.
Almost a certain release in the summer.

Tyrese Shade has played 71 football matches for Swindon (34 starts, 37 subs).
I would struggle to name more than about two things he's done in that time. And he's scored six goals, apparently!

https://thetownend.com/index.php?topic=59328.026 pros at the club, two out on loan. Two long term injuries (Clayton, Devine). Somehow that 26 includes zero natural right backs and no DM, but there you go.

He’s definitely dropped down the winger / wide forward pecking order with the Irish guy, McKirdy, the ginger guy & Glatzel signing & RHM miraculously being fit again now Flynn is gone.
Although most of those won’t be contracted past the summer anyway. Although Shade won’t be contracted past the summer either.
Shade has shown flashes of being decent but meh

I would not be surprised to see him gradually slip out of the game early. It was obvious as soon as he started playing for us a) why he'd been gambled on (not just by us) and b) why he wouldn't make it long term. He looks like a footballer, yet, when he plays, he looks anything but a footballer.

Absolutely. Seems to have zero football intelligence.

Makes sense as he wasn't even in the squad last weekend. He's probably better than the National League but the guy has no footballing IQ. I'm sure he'll be released in the summer and be picked up by the likes of a Grimsby or Sutton type club.

Until recently I don't think we ever won a game that shade started. I forget which one it was that broke the streak.
No ill will to him, hope he goes on to have a successful loan and career, he just always looked a bit rudderless playing for us. Would go on an amazing run and then fluff the end result, or ghost out of games and randomly score. Never consistent, except to be consistently on the bench. To be fair to him our management during his time here hasn't really done him any favours.

He gave us one of the biggest laughs my dad and I have had at football, his absolutely brilliant finish against Colchester last season.

And indeed, that is one of the two! Deadly finishing.

He was generally described as a utility player, I assume because he was absolutely bang average to terrible wherever he played.
Oddly I really liked him and had a burning desire for him to be good. He had a couple of recent games at left wing ish where he played quite well. But his last cameo as a number 10 was absolutely terrible, and wearing ice skates definitely didn't help. It will be interesting to see how he does a step below, and where Solihull actually utilise him.
