Surprised Shade went nowhere, can’t see him getting any game time at all unless we switch to 532 during a match
We’ve no reason yet to believe that Elbouzedi is better. We also have an injury prone RHM and Glatzel, and a striker who has just had heart surgery. Shade showed over Christmas that he can turn it on.

“On paper” some decent acquisitions so credit where credits due. If the majority can stay fit and McKirdy can recapture his previous form it could be an exciting end to the season but still a tall order to get in the play offs but at least the future looks a little brighter…

Leeds fans up in arms about letting this lad go https://twitter.com/LUFC/status/1753206597927715215?s=19

Wonder if he's a Kemp replacement. Sit behind Austin with McKirdy/RHM and Glatzel/Elbouzedi wide. with Khan and one other (Cain?) sitting deeper.

Saturday just got a lot more interesting anyway.

Yep, for me worryingly so.

The DNA is going with his housemate who comes from Cwmbran and they’re sitting in with the locals. That’s before a get to know his mates in the local social club 😵‍💫

Our forward positions look very strong all of a sudden. Less convinced by midfield and defence, we're very reliant on McCarthy staying fit, but there you go. Much better than it could have been and looked like being.

Squad's too big. Flynn would have hated it!

Someone once said that signing players is nothing like FM, but in a recent save a bought McGurk and he did really well, transformed my team, but buggered off to a 'bigger' team first chance he could. Read into that what you will

Are we still allowed loans. Bit concerning with the GK situation.

So in other words we better keep him in case we have recruited poorly  Cheesy

Mcgurk, on paper and going off leeds fans, looks to be a very good signing. Hopefully we’ve got an option on him?

Fan opinion isn't always right but its usually a good gauge, so that's great.

Cynical me wonders whether Leeds et al have a buyback option (circumnavigating the loan fees). I think I have gone too cynical, even for me..

We'd be allowed an emergency loan for a GK if required.

Sticking a plaster over the wound for now. You need a squad from August if you want to get promoted, futile attempt with just 17 games left.

Probably left it too late to mount a serious push, could be fun going on a run ala the Garner season and throwing caution to the wind.

Might twist the arm of a few one the fence when it comes to renewal time. Not for me, need to put an experienced team with proper depth together in the summer window next time round.

Good Keeper, Massive centre back, Massive Centre Mid, Massive Lump up front...build around that.

That will get you out of L2.
