Exactly, can anyone see our next win? I can't.

It feels a bit like the Hull Premier League season under Phil Brown where they got off to this incredible start, then barely won a point after the teamtalk-on-the-pitch stunt and stayed up by the skin of their teeth.

That first twelve games or so looks so, so important looking back.

Could still pull it out with a big name.

FAN EXPECTATION: Kemp and Young on permanent

REALITY: McKirdy and/or Wakeling on loan

McKirdy is unrealistic as well! I'd happily take him back though. At least he showed a bit of passion unlike the current lot

Sutton and Forest Green only need to win 5 more games than we do between now and the end of the season to finish above us.

I really don’t think it’s that unrealistic.

But we'd really need to not pick up any points either. I've seen a thread on another forum which states we realistically only need 1 more point to be safe.

We'll beat Bradford on Saturday, they are muck.

We'll beat Bradford on Saturday, they are muck.

They have matched us over last 6 (4pts) and beat us over last 10 (us 10 pts, them 16 pts). They have the 4th best away record over the last 6 away games (W3 D1 L2 ) but are worse at home (W1 D3 L3).  Our home form is the 6th worst in the league over 6 games (W2 D1 L3 F8 A12)

Over the last 10 they have scored 15, conceded 10
Over the last 10 we have scored 13, conceded 22

Only Stockport and Mansfield have conceded fewer over the last 10 (with 9 each)

My view is, best to be shit at the start of the season or the middle....not at the death.

I think we come under the middle section. PLEASE!

We’re going to limp to the finish line for sure but think we’ve got a decent enough head start that we won’t be one of the last two over the line.

If nothing drastically changes next season it’s on the cards…

My main concern is if it does get a bit squeaky this lot are gutless and would fold like a deck of cards. If teams below us see that it could add extra motivation for them to actually believe they could survive.

I worry about Cotterill & FGR - he is capable of galvanizing and grinding out points, if we don't add to the squad and get a few go down injured again then it may make it squeaky bum time, not sure Gunning will make a lot of difference other than changing formation and we may then concede less.

They should at least have the decency to release a rumour that is obviously nonsense but that gets us excited!

There are a couple of rumours still out there. There was the RB Morsehead talked about (the one with glass legs), and i'm sure there was talk about a young lad on loan from Palace as well.

Not aware of anything else out there at the moment.

Er, Lower League Look (is that Whelan's mob or some other Twitter itks?) suggested that we might have "a couple of lacklustre signings by the weekend"

So that's exciting.
