If not THE highest then certainly 2nd highest, which I have been told was why it took so long to sign him, budget juggling by Flynn and co.

I'd assume FBT and UGM are on fairly decent money as they joined us whilst under contract at other clubs who probably pay pretty well (Burton/FGR). Basically everyone else joined on a free I think, and most of those will not have had huge numbers of other options. Khan was from another club but it was a non-league club.
But yeah I'd be surprised if Austin wasn't highest by some way.

Did Kinsella deserve higher earning wages? He contributed very little to the team.
Apart from being probably our most consistent performer over the last 8 or so games.. very rarely a standout performer (once or twice) but always doing the dirty/unoticed stuff. Apart from Kemp, name a midfielder, maybe even player that has consistently turned up.

I agree. The unoticed stuff can often get overlooked, but it's often key to the team being able to perform. (Not that it did particularly)

Exactly. He was probably our most consistent midfielder over the last 10 games (ignoring Kemp). Never really stood out but head and shoulders better than Khan and McEachran.

I see other lower to mid table sides are strengthening their squads, whilst ours is getting weaker. We're already on a very poor run, one of the worst I recall. We'll be lucky to stay up. I don't know what they are playing at, but something is very odd about it all. Needs sorting somehow.

Sutton and/or FGR will have to go on a hell of a run. Not impossible. Highly improbable. Next season ... scary. I don't know what they are playing at
Trying to keep the lights on until the end of the season? Administration would be an obvious disaster. Then again, who knows. Maybe he#ll surprise us. Can't see it but ?

Just goes to show that those early betting trends did have some substance behind it, somebody must have had enough info to put a few bets on

Sutton and Forest Green only need to win 5 more games than we do between now and the end of the season to finish above us.
I really don’t think it’s that unrealistic.

Could still pull it out with a big name.
FAN EXPECTATION: Kemp and Young on permanent
REALITY: McKirdy and/or Wakeling on loan
