Gunning from todays presser
‘I would like one or two more faces but I don't mind having kids involved, that is why it is so important to have clear patterns of play and everyone understand what they are doing’

Used to sit near someone front of DRS who hated JPM always giving him shit.
Old boy (no longer with us sadly) who used to sit in front of us was always moaning at JP. We used to give him stick when he scored or did something good. He'd tell us to sod off then get the sweets out.

Back when we both had STs, I used to sit the row in front of Chalkie's Shorts of this parish. He absolutely hated JPM, mostly for not tracking back!
Hi Nemo. JPM was a lazy fucker who would mysteriously play well come the end of his contract. Could cross when he could be arsed but generally was a fucking liability. Used to drive me mad his general apathy towards the game. On a different subject as an outsider of 6 years but with a watching interest, I think you need to drain the swamp including the Trust who appear totally compromised. I'd set up a new supporters group who would have 4 priorities. 1) Work with journalists and any authority to bring all the bad stuff to the surface. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Get it out there. 2) Look at ways of breaking the Trust / Clem agreement re County Ground. Work with Eady lawyers and SBC. 3) Look at feasibility of fan buyout. The bad news here is that you won't have a clue what shit you're signing up to unless no 1 above has been completed. Who could have forseen the Abramovich money for example. 4) Look at feasibility of AFC Swindon. It might be difficult but let Clem and his merry men have the club, league position etc but no fans. See how they get on then.

CS Your proposed 4 points may seem radical to some and maybe ridiculous to other's but I agree

Amalgamate with Supermarine and become AFC Swindon. Less tiers to traipse through that way

There was definitely a Sunday League team called AFC Swindon at some point and there is an AFC Swindon vets team. I remember being told waaay back when, like early 2000s that someone had started a Sunday League team and called it Swindon City - so if Swindon became a City and the football wanted to change their name they’d have to buy the rights off this Sunday League team - how legit any of that ever was, fuck knows

Sorry, just realised this is on the Transfer Rumours fred. Maybe not this season, but this is usually one of the more stable and consistent freds regarding the headline content.
Probs best if it comes back on topic. SDM set to sign Oscar Pistorius since his release from prison. Should fit right in. Ex-con, likes to get legless. He'll wear shirt number 14 and be known as Steenkamp. A certain Senator Austin will be arranging his visa.
