That’s the trouble if you get yourself a bad reputation as a club and also have a below par season, news travels fast, might be able to butter up the loan signings who know they’re not with you permanently but will be harder to convince any reputable player to sign for you permanently

By all reports I have heard and seen by players who have been here they seem to have enjoyed the experience.
Possible exceptions were the Brighton GK and a lad from Brentford in the real bad days of Sheridan.
Agreed the Power people tried to play games with Spurs when selling Gladwin and Lugono.
So thinking about it...STFC have been total shits...

…and I bet most players don’t give a flying fuck about it either. It’s money. Players will go & sign for whoever offers them the amount of money they want. There will be no player offered favourably terms who doesn’t sign because he’s heard about Swindon having a fake team in Pakistan run by man with an extensive criminal record or such like. |

Yes they will. Players are only interested in money. A player isn’t going to accept a lower offer from Walsall because they produced good accounts on time & we didn’t. Plus, no player is principled enough to turn down STFC & instead decide to stay unemployed. |
