Unfortunately, the same Bristol Rovers that have just built a new stand and are ready to work around the rest of the stadium. They also own their own training ground and development centre.
Always left behind just watching other clubs develop and grow
Even Oxford have moved to a new stadium and are in the planning stage of another one! Can we realistically see anything happening to the CG aside putting up more sponsorship banners before the Council buy it back? On that note, is there any benefit at all to Clem and his cronies if the Council were to buy the ground back? Or does it make no financial sense for that to happen?

What was rent? 200K?
They have to start 1M improvements within 3 years. Not sure there is a finish time?! Can't think it worthwhile to hand back.

The training ground bit always makes me laugh when I think about it. Any new manager/player being shown around will see the stadium and then see the nice looking Foundation Park with the Swindon badges on it outside (granted I know this isn’t sufficient for a training facility) and then get told we train out of town at a facility out in Calne that we don’t own and gets waterlogged a lot.
Sounds and looks amateur. Maybe I’m being too harsh. That being said, a training ground probably isn’t anywhere near the top of the problem list right now.

Why did we change training facility? Players seemed to talk up the old ones around Di Canio era.

But it's not handing back, the Council have to buy it back don't they (2.3 million quid I think it was?) This is where I'm coming from, is there £££ to be made if this happens? Probably not and I've probably been reading too many online conspiracy theories or i've misunderstood completely.

Surely any money coming back will be for the Eady Trust, based on how they have managed things so far I would be very surprised if that is not locked up in the contract.

Alex Pollock suggested on Twitter that's the case - all monies to be returned to the Nigel Eady Trust should the CG be repurchased.

That's intersting. So we were only due to be at Beversbrook for 3 years and Fraser Digby was looking at alternatives. Clearly nothing came of that search.

Liddington turned into a kids activity centre. The company I work for used to do events there before the change and I often got a sneak peak of the summer trialists milling about.
