Given the supposed "leak" from Clem that we're close to a deal with Kemp and his celebration after his first goal. Could he be staying?! Maybe it's hopeful straw clutching. Fingers crossed he wants to stay here as i'm sure he won't be short of options.

Just watched the highlights. After his first goal after putting arms aloft in front of the DRS he pointed both hands to the ground. I’m taking that as he’s staying!

Maybe I don't have the same romantic notions as others but I simply can't see a world in which Dan Kemp decides that STFC is his next destination for his football education.
I'm pretty certain Franchise recall and sell. There must be a queue of at least a dozen clubs in league 1 or above circling. Him staying at STFC would be an absolute game changer for us and would definitely show ambition but I just cannot see it.

Son said the same, looked like a statement saying he was going to stay, or maybe just that he wants too

I get that but it's not done his football education too bad so far . I suppose the big question is whether it's up to him or not

The only way I can see it working for both clubs, player and agent is a scenario where the mythical twine owed money exists, Kemp really wants to see out the season here, we put a reasonable release clause in Kemps contract for the summer and a sell on wedge to MK.
Otherwise as others have said, there’s so many stumbling blocks in the way. Agreeing a fee with MK, convincing Kemp to sign perm, beating off competition from leagues above. It would be tough.

Sorry, but that’s just not possible! If Bradford’s manager has said Monday is Young’s last game am I being naive in thinking we’ve have someone in place straight away to replace him - or would that need a modicum of forward planning.

He also had a great spell at Hartlepool who were terrible last season. It's evident that Kemp is such a good player that even if you put him in a poor side he will shine. I can't deny that he seems to be absolutely loving his time at Swindon and that could be enough for him to stay. You would imagine his agent will be drumming up as much interest as possible. I'd love to be wrong, he's probably my favourite player since Jack Payne (you can tell I love those short arse playmakers as that was what i tried to do - failing miserably!) and it would be an absolutely massive statement of intent by Clem and co for the second part of the season.
